BrowserPass.com
Our editorial approach.
How BrowserPass.com uses sources, explains limitations, handles corrections, and builds independent guides around practical browser decisions.
Begin with the reader’s decision
Browser Pass Lab is organized around practical questions, rather than a list of products to buy. We aim to define a feature, explain what it covers, describe meaningful limitations, and give the reader a manageable next step. A comparison should make the decision clearer without implying that every person needs the same setup.
Use sources that match the claim
Our guides use official browser documentation, standards resources, and first-party explanations to verify important technical points. Each Lab article includes one editorial source link for further reading. Sources describe their own scope; a help page about a private window does not establish a claim about a password manager or an entire device.
Examples in the guides illustrate a decision or workflow. They are not testimonials, field tests, measured performance results, or evidence that a service guarantees privacy. We do not publish invented popularity figures, search-volume estimates, awards, or vendor endorsements.
Describe uncertainty plainly
Browser interfaces differ across operating systems, versions, and managed devices. We qualify instructions when those differences matter. If an option is missing or controlled by an administrator, readers should use the relevant official guidance and their organization’s support process.
Prices, subscription terms, and support policies can change. Our comparison frameworks focus on the terms a reader should verify for their own situation. We do not use a static article to promise a current price or a particular level of service.
Dates and corrections
Articles show their publication dates. A later update date is appropriate when a substantive revision has a verified date; a new page layout alone should not imply that the underlying guidance has been freshly reviewed. If you spot a factual error or a changed setting, send us the page address and the point that needs attention.
Contact [email protected] or visit the Contact page for what to include. We can assess an editorial issue using a general description. Please do not send credentials, recovery codes, or private account records.
Independent topic coverage
BrowserPass.com is an independent informational website. Browser and product names identify the subjects of our guides. They do not imply a partnership, an endorsement, or affiliation with the separate Browserpass extension project. Read about BrowserPass.com for the scope of this website.
